Dear Friends of Villages of the Berkshires,
Sadly, we are writing to inform you that Villages of the Berkshires will be closing due to limited financial resources. The government funding we have depended upon in the past is no longer available to us, making our small budget unsustainable.
We are grateful to so many of you in the community who have contributed to our mission over the years with your generous gifts of time, service and financial support.
Looking back on our organization’s impact since our 2019 inception, we have much to celebrate, most importantly, countless friendships and community partnerships which have grown from our Villages movement. We send a very special “thank you” to our founders, Howard & Shirley Shapiro and Carl & Claudia Shuster, for giving their hearts and souls to improve the lives of seniors in the Berkshires.
For information regarding senior resources in our area, please contact the Information and Referral Service at Elder Services of Berkshire County at (413) 499-0524 https://www.esbci.org/services/information-referral/
or 413Cares at https://www.413cares.org/ Future emails regarding Villages of the Berkshires may be directed to our personal email addresses listed below.
Wishing you good health and supportive friendships on your life’s journey.
Sincerely,
Kulli Bloom, Director kullibloom@gmail.com
